Restaurant and cafeteria

Although the joint ESRF/ILL/EMBL site is mainly a place for working, it is also possible to have a good time and enjoy tasty meals with colleagues. In the Restaurant and Cafeteria you can unwind from a day filled with work ─ seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

Location

The restaurant is located centrally on the road leading to the ESRF from the site entrance gate. Inside the building is also the scientific library and a bank agency. In a satellite building next to the restaurant is a cafeteria featuring an open-air terrace. Here, you can enjoy coffee and soft drinks as well as sandwiches, salads and other light meals from the take away counter.

During summer and winter shutdowns when there are no users at the ESRF and the ILL, the evening and weekend services are suspended.
