Guesthouse

Usually, scientists visiting the ESRF or the ILL are accommodated conveniently in the immediate proximity to the beamlines and the reactor, as there is a guest house of 174 rooms on site. It offers various amenities and services tailored to visitors' needs. Welcome!

Location

The Guest House comprises three buildings, all of which conveniently located close to the site entrance. The reception is in building A.

Opening times

The reception is open during the following times:

Monday to Friday 7h00─20h00
Weekends and Holidays 7h00─12h00
Outside the reception’s opening hours, you receive your room key at the site entrance.

During summer and winter shutdowns and when there are no users at the ESRF or the ILL, the opening of the Guest House may be suspended. All changes are notified in advance to our users.

Meals

Continental breakfast is served in building A and other meals in the Restaurant.

The Guest House welcomes also those not staying at the Guest House to have breakfast, if reservation is made by contacting the reception the day before by 12h00.
